Sardines pie recipe – recipe for yummy fish pie! This version of fish pie is made with canned sardines. Easy to make and very tasty!
- 200 ml kefir (plain drinkable yogurt)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 (3.75 ounce) can sardines in oil (drained)
- 1 bunch green onion (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (more to taste)
Mix kefir, eggs, salt and vegetable oil. Add flour, mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
Mash sardines using a fork, mix with green onion.
Preheat the oven to 356 ° F (180 ° C).
Spoon half of the dough into the pie baking plate. Spread the sardines filling on top of the dough. Spoon the remaining dough. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the pie from the oven and grease pie crust with sour cream. Return the pie to the oven and bake 10 minutes.
Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from the pie pan.
