Panna cotta with strawberry sauce – delicious dessert for sweet lovers. Gentle souffle under strawberry sauce is easy to make, looks and tastes wonderful!
For the panna cottas:
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 1/2 teaspoon plain gelatin
- 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon odorless vegetable oil
- fresh strawberries and nuts for garnish
For the sauce:
- 10 ounce strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon potato starch
Pour some milk into a bowl. Pour gelatin and leave for 10 minutes until soften. Mix the milk, cream and sugar and cook over low heat until sugar dissolved. Add gelatin with milk to the hot mixture, add vanilla extract, cook and stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves completely. Blend 1 cup of strawberries. Slowly add strawberries puree into the hot mixture. Pour the mixture on greased from oil molds and refrigerate about 6-8 hours.
Strawberries blend until smooth. Mix the strawberries and sugar, add the butter and heat to boiling. Cook about 5 minutes. Potato starch stir in 1/2 cup of water. Stirring constantly, pour the starch in strawberry mixture and cook for 5 minutes after boiling over low heat, cool.
Before serving, remove the dessert from the mold onto a plate; pour the strawberry sauce, sprinkle with nuts and garnish with fresh strawberries.
