Napa cabbage rolls recipe

Napa cabbage rolls recipe – recipe for hearty rolls which made using multi cooker. Napa cabbage leaves stuffed with ground beef and vegetables– it’s so yummy!

Recipe for napa cabbage rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • leaves from 1 head napa cabbage
  • 2 tablespoon white rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 carrot (grated)
  • 1/2 cup fresh dill and parsley (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • salt and spices to taste
  • water

Method

Cook the rice into salted boiling water (about 15 minutes). Drain.

Heat the vegetable oil into a multi cooker bowl, add onion and fry until translucent using “Fry”. Add carrot and some water (1-2 tablespoons). Cook about 5 minutes. Add dill and parsley and cook about 3-4 minutes.

Season ground beef with salt and spices. Add egg, rice and frying vegetables and stir thoroughly.

Pour 1 cup of water into a multi cooker bowl, place napa cabbage leaves into a steam tray and cook about 5 minutes using “Steam”. Rinse leaves under cold running water and drain. Cut the inside white parts (stems) of the leaves away.

Place a tablespoon of the filling in the middle of a cabbage leaf and roll, tucking in the edges. Repeat for all leaves.

Pour 300 ml of water into a multi cooker bowl. Place rolls into multi cooker steam tray (seam side down). Select “Steam” and cook for 30 minutes.

Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
