Jam sponge cake recipe – recipe for homemade rolled sponge cake filled with your favorite jam. Excellent with tea and coffee.
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 egg
- 4 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 5 tablespoon jam
Whisk together eggs and sugar. Add sour cream, baking soda and salt. Add flour, stir thoroughly.
Preheat oven to 356° F (180° C).
Line a jellyroll pan with parchment paper. Grease with vegetable oil and lightly heat it.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread into a thin layer (about 1/2 “).
Bake about 10-15 minutes.
Immediately grease the sponge cake with jam. Gently roll up the cake removing the parchment paper during the rolling. Set aside for cool.
Sprinkle the sponge cake with powdered sugar or pour with melted chocolate.
