Gluten free cookies recipe – the basic recipe for delicious sugar cookies from a gluten-free flour. Easy recipe for delicious pastries.
- 2 1/4 cups gluten-free flour
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed meal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup butter (softened)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla extract with a mixer. Continuing to whisk, add eggs one at a time.
Mix butter and flour mixture and knead the dough. Form a ball and place the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface (use gluten-free flour). Cut the dough into shapes using cookie cutters. Put the cookies on a baking sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes in a preheated to 325 degrees F oven until browned edges.
Optional: You can add nuts into the dough or cover the baked cookies from icing or chocolate.
