Cornbread recipe with corn – easy recipe tasty and healthy bread for every day.
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or more)
- 1 cup corn flour
- 1/2 cup rye flour
- 2 cup warm water
- 1 cup whole kernel corn (fresh or frozen)
- 2 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Corn rinse and dry.
Mix 1 cup of water, yeast and sugar. After 15 minutes, add the remaining water, salt, oil, rye and corn flour, mix. Small portions add 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and knead dough, adding more flour as needed. The dough should be quite thick. Add corn kernel and knead about 5 minutes. Grease a baking mold from oil. Put the dough into a mold and put in a warm place for 1 hour.
Bake into preheated oven to 392 F for 30 minutes, then cover with oiled baking paper and bake another 30 minutes (until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cornbread comes out clean).
