On this spaghetti bolognese recipe, you will prepare a great meal that the whole family to enjoy.
- 1 package spaghetti
- 1 large white onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 (14 ounce) cans peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
- 2 bell peppers, cubed
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- salt, to taste
In the olive oil saute the onion, celery and carrots until tender.
Cook the ground beef in a large pot over high heat about 10 minutes until completely browned.
In a food processor blend tomatoes with juice.
Add cooked vegetables to beef, add bell pepper, tomato sauce and black pepper. Season with salt. Stew about 40 minutes. At the end, add the garlic.
Cook the spaghetti in salted water.
Arrange the pasta on plates, add the meat sauce with vegetables and sprinkle with cheese.
